At Daraja Mentorship Center, we believe that literacy is the bridge to opportunity and empowerment. A reading society is an informed society — and through our work, we strive to nurture a generation that reads, thinks, and leads.
Despite significant progress in expanding access to primary education, literacy and numeracy levels in the Kaputiei region of Kajiado remain critically low. Many children still struggle to access quality learning materials, mentorship, and safe spaces that encourage personal growth and academic excellence.
We provide access to books, learning resources, and structured mentorship programs that nurture a love for reading, enhance academic performance, and build confidence and resilience among young learners
